Hey everybody!
i havent updated in quite a while but i really do wanna start doing it more! haha!

so here whats been going on....

1st:
PROM.

IT WAS THE LAST ONE FOR ME AND USUALLY I GET REALLY REALLY SENTEMENTAL ABOUT STUFF LIKE THAT BUT I ACUALLY DIDNT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT WHICH IS WEIRD. I GUESS THAT MEANS IM READY TO GET OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL.

BUT WE HAD ALOT OF FUN! WE ATE AT LONGHORNS. WENT PROM. IT WAS AT THE PELHAM CIVIC CENTER THIS YEAR AND WAS VERY PRETT Y THIS YEAR. MUCH BETTER THAN THE LOBBY!

3RD:

SPRING BREAK IS NEXT WEEK.
THIS IS ONE OF THE THINGS I WILL BE MISSING . BUT I GUESS ILL STILL HAVE THEM IN COLLEGE BUT IT WONT BE THE SAME.
ME, MADDISON,GRAM,PAPA DON, GARRETT, WILL AND BAILEY ARE ALL TAKING A TRIP DOWN TO THE GOOD 'OL PLACE AT THE BEACH! WERE LEAVING AFTER I GET OFF WORK SATURDAY AND COMING BACK HOME WEDNESDAY NIGHT!

I CANT WAIT :)

I ALSO CANT WAIT TO GRADUATE!

EVERYONE IS SO READY TO GRADUATE THAT OUR CLASS KEEPS A RUNNING COUNTDOWN IN OUR CLASSES!

UPDATE!

wow.it has been such a long time since ive posted but a lot has happened in the last month or two. so heres whats been going on...


i took my senior portraits....they went ok. but i think i may take some more later on but im still not sure!


I GOT A JOB!!

im working at a pharmacy now, woods family pharmacy and i love it. i havent even been working there 2 weeks yet and i already think im gonna like it alot. my job is to stock the shelves and to get people their perscriptions and ring them up. i like it a lot!!



i also visited a college!! a couple of weeks ago we were out of school for a short "fall break" so me, my mom and my gram all took an hour and 1/2 trip to wallace state community colle in Hanceville, Al.
never heard of it? yea not suprising at all.
it is TINY! they have a subway, mcdonalds, and a kfc. and that is it! but suprisingly i liked it! the school was so pretty and big! we saw the dorms. and they are so big! i couldnt believe how nice they were! its crazy though to think that ill be in college. i dont think its really hit me yet! im sooooo scared!!

I got my braces off!!!!
finally! i had them on from 8th grade until now!(12th grade)
im so glad they are finally off now!


Last week was my last homecoming week.
my last peprally and my last home game as a student at thompson high school.
its was so hard. i love that school and i love football season even more!! at the pep rally the seniors won- of corse!! seniors always win. and i used to hate that but now im loving it! haha.

These are some of the senior girls in my choir class. me,kaitly,mary,kelsey, and courtney. im gonna miss those girls!

This weekend was alot of fun because we went to AUBURN! Me, mom, dad, will and tyler all piled in my grams car saturday morning and went to the beautiful auburn plains!! we had so much fun! we met up with brother john and mrs. lynn to tailgate. Becky also met us down there and sat with us at the game! It was great!

senior year so far...

HEY EVERYBODY!!
so i have officaially finished my last "first week" as a high school student.
it went really well. i like all my classes and teachers i have a few classes that may be tough but hopefully not too bad.
one class im really excited about it my anatomy.

i think i may have finally decided on something i want to do with my life.
shocking i know. we were talking about how anatomy tied into so many different careers and she mentioned radiology and things like x-ray, MRI, and sonagram technicians.
i was kinda intrested in the sonogram part of it.
i came home and started talking to my mom about it and she immedietly jumped on the idea since ive been SO picky and confused about what i want to do.

Then we started looking at stuff online and the only college that offers this sonography program is Virgina College, which of corse wouldnt be my first choice but its really starting to grow on me!! its not too far away and wont take as long to finish.

Today when i got home from school the admissions counselor from VC called me! which is so so so weird to have colleges calling me. i do not feel old enough for this stuff. but anyways.
i talked to this lady for over 30 minutes. she was really sweet and she said she loved thompson kids....biggg plus!
she said the program only allows 30 in the class!! so its very competative but she said she could help me alot since im starting early. im so excited !! i think this is something i would really like doing. it still medical which i like but its not like a nurse who has to do everything because i definetly could not handle some of this stuff.
idealy with this i could go to school for 2 years then find a good job at a small obgyn practice and get to give ultrasounds to cute little pregrant ladys. of corse there are other parts its not all just cute babys but it cant be that bad! PLUS. these people make some pretty good money!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

first of all....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILL.

poor kid had to start school on his birthday!

so today was the day. my last "first day of school".
only about 9 more months and ill be out of high school forever. it doesnt even seem real!

may 22nd is the day.

the morning started off at 5:50 when my clock went off. I got ready and went to pick up sydni -my cousin. today was her first day of high school. then we went to pick up maddison- my other cousin and peyton- her neighbor.

and then we were off.

school went really good.
i miss summer though!

the halls were so much more crowded though! i couldnt even believe it. we did get an extra minute added on so now we have 6 minutes to change classes instead of five. thats good since we now have 1650 students in that little bitty building.

we also have about 35 new teachers. and 3 or 4 new trailers.

we desperetly need a new school!

we also had an assembly though with my class which was fun because everyone was so excited and hyper since were seniors and all. we were told "here at Thompson we dont have any 'initiation." haha. "if anything of that sort is reported it will be considered assault." "its the seniors job to take leadership....and students that doesnt mean telling the freshman its $5 to get into pep rallies!"

it was kinda funny!

im so excited! i feel like shes my little girl or something. haha. last week i went to the beach with my cousin maddison to a youth camp. The speaker supported compassion international which is something ive always been kind of intrested in but never really wanted to commit. so towards the end of the week he preached a whole entire sermon on how we are called to take care of the poor. it hit me. HARD. i felt so bad that i hadnt done anything. at first i was like "i dont even have a really steady job how am i gonna provide for this little girl" but then he said we spend so much money on coffee,clothes and cars but cant sacrifice just $32 a month to make sure a child is just being fed everyday!

and its so true. i spend way more than $32 dollars just hanging out with my friends on the weekend. towards the end of the message the speaker started laying the kids pictures on the altar saying "who will help _____" and said their names. it was so sweet. i wanted to get one. but the altar was so flooded with people that they even ran out of kids!!! i was amazed, so i knew then that i needed to finally commit and support a compassion child.

A few nights after that a new shipment of kids pictures and info came in! i thought i would just get online and search for the child i wanted , a little girl from peru, because my best friend Becky had been adopted from there when she was a baby,but for some reason i was just drawn to this little girl from Bolivia.
How ironic is it that as soon as i got home and showed my mom her picture and information she told me that the sunday i had missed at church someone had spoke at our church about going on a mission trip....to BOLIVIA!!!

it was so encouraging to know that this was something God wanted me to do and i wasnt just doing it because i felt guilty.

Anyways. today i paid my first payment so shes offically mine!!

Babysitting.

Today was the first day of my new "job"...it started off this morning at 5:50 a.m. crazy i know! i dont even wake up that early for school. but it wasnt that bad. i waste almost the whole day sleeping during the summer so it was good to have the whole day today. anyways my mom is sitting with this older man at night so im keeping Braelyn,Bailey,Garrett, and will on thursdays and fridays while she sleeps! today went pretty good. im rethinking the idea of me wanting 4 kids when im older. thats alott..and these kids are so wild but here are some pictures.
